China's First OCIO Firm
Envolve Group (溯元育新) is China's first Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) firm, modeled after Cambridge Associates. Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Shanghai, we produce partner-level research for institutional investors.
Our research focuses on fund exit strategies, characteristics of high-quality portfolio companies, and GP evaluation frameworks. We have completed in-depth analyses of over 50 global funds including Union Square Ventures, Kauffman Foundation, Owl Ventures, Maveron, and Bessemer Venture Partners.
Our work substantially drove the professionalization of China's venture capital ecosystem — shifting the industry from a relationship-driven model to a research-driven, institutionalized framework.
